Ok, we don’t care what anyone says but one of these is skate-able and one of these isn’t…

Obviously, there’s no way you could skate in that mid-top!!!

Kidding aside, we really don’t know what to say about these leather clad beasts. Gravis is trying to build a rep in skateboarding and it appears this is how they’re going about it. Anyhow, we hate to break it to you, but no one is going to be skating in those slip-on’s, at least not for very long. This is pure marketing folks. Yes, Reider can be seen skating in these during his part in Minefield, but in the other 95% of that part he’s skating in a good-old vulcanized kicks and that’s no coincidence. Disagree? Leave a comment and let us know what you think.

TWbiz has an informative interview with Fabrice LeDet, Gravis’ GM, on where his company has come from and where they’re going. Fabrice talks about everything from the new logo (seen below) to the new team line-up. Definitely worth a quick read.

Burton owned Gravis continues to release better and better skate oriented shoes. The Cortex has been out for a bit, and recently a new color has been introduced. Take a look and tell us what you think!
