Branching out from a strictly skate shoe line-up, this Spring’s 2009 C1rca Select collection bridges the gap between skate and fashion footwear. On the one hand you’ve got purely skate inspired shoes like the Pusher and the 205 Vulc, on the other hand there’s the New Balance inspired Getaway and the Crook which feature “streamlined athletic shoe fit and construction” and are explicitly “not built on (a) skate shoe platform”.

Overall we like the look of a lot of these shoes. It’s nice to see C1rca branching out and doing it in style. Take a look at the full brochure, including apparel and accessories, here.

The C1RCA Rogue’s are featured in the new issue of TWBiz.

**Update**
We were able to get the scan below from the issue. They definitely look nice and feature an “advanced phylon outsole”.

According to Sneaker Head “Phylon is very lightweight, low-profile and responsive. Phylon is made of EVA foam pellets that are compressed, heat expanded and then cooled in a mold. Compression-molded Phylon midsoles can be sculpted into a variety of designs that are identified by their fine wrinkles”.

We’re not sure how they’ll skate, but leave a comment and let us know after you’ve picked up a pair.
