Sneaker News ran a post back in July previewing the 2009 Nike SB collection. TWBiz is now confirming that the first ’09 release will be the Veloce, which kicks things off in January.

Nike says, “the Veloce is built on the outsole of the Zoom Tre A.D. which incorporates Nike’s ultra-flexible Free technology. We wanted to offer a shoe with a more traditional upper than the Tre A.D. but still lends a nod to some of Nike’s more iconic running shoes.”

Looks like another winner for the Nike SB juggernaut. Leave us a comment and let us know what you think.
